The Darcy Dress – Bubby and Me Creations

Pattern testing has been flat out for the past fortnight, and I am SUPER excited to finally be able to share the Darcy Dress with you!!

The Darcy Dress, Size 4

Nikki from Bubby and Me Creations has come up with another winning girl’s pattern!! I’m also in love with her Poppy dress pattern which I blogged about earlier this year.

Not only is Darcy a dress, it also includes cutting lines to make a top!!

The dolman sleeves mean it will be a staple in our preschool clothing rotation this spring and the circle style skirt makes it excellent for twirling 🙂

Darcy comes in sizes 1 – 10 and requires 4 way stratch knit fabric with at least 50% stretch. Nikki has included 2 easy options to create a beautifully bound (and easy!) neckline.

The day I took photos of Eleanor (above), it was about 13C and very windy, poor girl!! Olivia has had tonsillitis and a cold for a few days now, but at a very pleasant 25C here today, I quickly made her a top (maybe 20 minutes?) in her requested fabrics and had her pose for me. Liv is wearing a size 5 top with 6 length.

Both girls are wearing Summer Girl panels that I bought from Bubby and Me Creations – Fabrics. The large size is perfect for Liv’s shirt and the small was great for the dress.

My girls are completely in LOVE with Darcy and I think your’s will be too!!

Darcy is on sale for a limited time only, so don’t miss out!! For the first time, Nikki is also offering the Darcy Dress in A0 size, awesome!

Also, be sure to join the Bubby and Me Pattern Group to share your creations.
