Last minute sewing

I was feeling pretty smug Monday night when I realised the last sewing I needed to complete was sewing the binding on a little quilt I’d attempted for my youngest. It was the most organised I’d been in years!!

Then I volunteered to pick up a part for Mick at a town that conveniently has a Spotlight with a pretty good range of fabrics 🤣

Hello my pretties…

A brief tour of the clearance table netted me 10m of fabric and dreams of new dresses before we left for holidays on Thursday. I’d managed to forget the 3 different Christmas parties we needed to attend tonight which left me only 1 night to try something new.

I ended up choosing the green, slub, linen look fabric and tried out the Closet Case Patterns Charlie Caftan that I’ve owned for ages but never made.

End result, I love it!! Totally wish I had more time to make a few more, but I’m sure I’ll enjoy the parties tonight 🍾

Merry Christmas and safe holidays
